Conexess Group is seeking a Staff Accountant for a part-time, 100% remote role. The position supports intermittent leave coverage and involves journal entries, reconciliations, and documentation across the month-end close.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of accounting experience, a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, and proficiency in Excel; NetSuite experience is preferred. This flexible remote role suits candidates in or able to work within Central Time.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of accounting experience including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries and documentation.
• Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and posting in the general ledger.
• Review data for accuracy, investigate variances, and maintain supporting schedules.
• Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional partners to answer questions and meet deadlines.
• Contribute to process improvements in documentation and routines.
