Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide virtual speech therapy to K-12 students enrolled in Connections Academy virtual public schools. The SLP will conduct sessions via webcam and web conferencing while managing caseloads in the Education Management System.

Responsibilities include planning therapy, ensuring IEP goal alignment, communication with parents and school staff, and maintaining accurate documentation while adhering to data protection standards.

Qualifications

• MA or MS in Speech-Language Pathology and ASHA CCC.
• Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology in home state.
• 2+ years of experience in a K-12 setting.
• Strong technology skills and ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality speech-language services to assigned students in a virtual environment.
• Plan and implement individual and group therapy via telepractice.
• Maintain all required documentation and IEP-related records.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to meet IEP goals.
• Ensure compliance with state policies and data-protection requirements.
