Job summary

National Heritage Academies is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist for PrepNet Virtual Academy. The role supports K-12 online learners from home, collaborating with school staff to plan and implement IEPs and related services.

The SLP will conduct evaluations, develop goals, and provide services through various delivery models, documenting progress and ensuring compliance. A master's degree and ASHA CCC are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• CCC-SLP certification with ASHA is required or in process.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the administrator over special education to schedule and coordinate IEP timelines and meetings.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and progress discussions.
• Conduct speech-language evaluations and contribute to assessment planning.
• Develop and monitor individualized speech-language goals aligned with IEPs.
• Provide specially designed instruction to meet students' communication needs.
• Document service delivery, progress notes, and compliance paperwork.
• Consult with teachers and families to support carryover of strategies.
• Maintain accurate records and data in required systems.
