Job summary

National University is seeking a part-time faculty member in School Psychology within the Sanford College of Education to deliver course content and support the university’s diverse adult student body.

The role requires a Master’s degree in school psychology, a current state credential, and documented experience as a credentialed school psychologist; California credentialing or PPS is required within one year if credentialed elsewhere.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in school psychology from a regionally accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a practicing, credentialed school psychologist.
• Current, state-issued credential in school psychology.
• If credential issued by another state, CA PPS credential within one year.
• Knowledge of WISC-V, WIAT-4, KTEA-3, KABC-II NU, WJ V; iPad assessments.
• Available to teach Saturday Zoom Residency courses.
• Preferred: 2 years of higher education teaching experience.
• Terminal degree in Psychology.

Responsibilities

• Provide substantive, timely feedback to students on various assessment activities.
• Maintain a positive, safe, inclusive student-centric learning environment.
• Complete required tasks on deadlines (e.g., final grades, assessment, rubrics).
• Maintain professional training and/or scholarly activities when applicable.
• Provide feedback to the course lead regarding course content.
• Identify at-risk students and collaborate with student services.
