Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for a remote physician practice role in Virginia Beach, VA. The RN provides nursing care, triage, assists with exams, administers medications and vaccines, and coordinates care with physicians and staff. An ADN is required; BSN is preferred.

1–2 years ambulatory/clinic nursing experience is preferred. Current RN license (state) and NCLEX completion are required.

• Current state RN license required; NCLEX-RN passed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a physician practice or ambulatory clinic.
• Perform triage in person and by phone; assist physicians with examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments.
• Coordinate referrals, follow-up, and continuity of care.
