The New York Post is seeking a Part-Time Reporter (20–24 hours per week) to join our Sunday team. Qualifications

• 3+ years of reporting or newsroom experience preferred (internships count).
• A bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.
• Strong writing and research skills.
• Ability to work on deadline and adapt quickly to breaking news.
• Comfortable covering a range of topics, from news and politics to entertainment.
• A team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Passion for journalism and the fast-moving media world.

Responsibilities

• Cover assigned stories and conduct interviews
• Pitch interesting, relevant, and creative stories for our Sunday paper and Saturday web coverage
• Rewrite and update existing stories as needed
• Aggregate breaking news and trending topics from trusted sources
• Write clean, engaging copy for both print and digital
• Work collaboratively with editors and other reporters to develop strong story ideas
• Stay on top of news developments and flag timely angles
