LibraryLinkNJ in New Jersey is seeking a part-time Programming and Outreach Specialist to join the CE Team, developing and promoting programs for library staff.

The role supports statewide continuing education, requires experience in program planning and virtual delivery, and offers up to 21 hours per week with some remote work.

Salary ranges from $27.95 to $36.17 per hour and the position is at-will.

Qualifications

• Master of Library Science degree preferred; other relevant degrees or equivalent will be considered.
• Three (3) or more years of recent work experience in a library preferred.
• Ability to plan and present programs—both in-person and virtual; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize training and professional development needs as part of the CE Team.
• Promote LibraryLinkNJ and provide strong customer service to members.
• Design and sponsor programs, workshops, webinars, and experiences for continuing education across New Jersey.
