Job summary

The MedServ Group is seeking a licensed Primary Care Physician for a part-time, remote consulting and clinical leadership role to support development of primary care services in North Carolina. You will work with executive leadership on research, planning, and compliant entity development, including potential collaboration on nurse practitioner services, subject to state law and review.

Ideal candidates hold an MD or DO, NC license, and have board certification or eligibility in Family or

Qualifications

Active, unrestricted North Carolina physician license.
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine preferred.
Experience with advanced practice providers, telehealth, or healthcare consulting is a plus.
Relevant clinical experience in primary care required.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with CEO and leadership on research, planning and development of NC primary care services.
Provide physician input to design service models, workflows and quality standards.
Advise on clinical governance, documentation and supervision of APPs as allowed by state law.
Participate in discussions on structure and compliant operation of the professional entity.
Stay informed on primary care, telehealth and healthcare regulations.
