Job summary

Aldridge Pite, LLP seeks a South Carolina Foreclosure Attorney for remote work with required in-person court attendance across the state. The role supports uncontested and contested foreclosure matters, some bankruptcy and eviction work, and requires frequent court appearances and strong client communication.

Ideal candidates hold a J.D. and SC Bar membership with at least five years of foreclosure litigation experience, and reside in South Carolina, preferably near Columbia, Florence or

Qualifications

• JD required and SC Bar in good standing.
• Minimum five years' experience in foreclosure litigation.
• Experience in contested and uncontested foreclosure litigation required.
• Residency in SC; preference for Columbia/Florence/Charleston.
• Remote work with in-person hearings across state.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients at mediations, hearings, trials, and other duties as assigned.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, correspondence and motions.
• Analyze and review complaints, motions and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and communicate with clients regarding case matters.
• Deliver excellent customer service and legal representation to stakeholders.
• Perform other duties and special projects as needed.
