Job summary

Aldridge Pite, LLP is seeking a South Carolina Foreclosure Attorney for a flexible part-time role. The attorney will handle both contested and uncontested foreclosure matters, with remote work and required attendance at in-state hearings. A JD and SC Bar admission are mandatory, along with at least five years of foreclosure experience.

Residence in SC is preferred. The position offers a part-time schedule (20-25 hours/week) with the possibility of additional hours.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) required and active SC Bar admission.
• Minimum five (5) years’ foreclosure litigation experience.
• Experience in both contested and uncontested foreclosure litigation required.
• Remote position with in-person court attendance across South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients at mediations, hearings, trials, and other duties.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, correspondence and motions.
• Analyze and review complaints, motions and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis to clients.
