Karat is seeking an External Communications Lead to partner with the CEO, executing an external communications strategy that reinforces Karat as a leader in technical interviewing and workforce intelligence. This remote, part-time role requires close collaboration with the CEO and senior leaders in a fast-growing tech company.

You will own media relations end-to-end, ghostwrite talking points and bylines, shape campaigns, and manage the CEO's public presence from LinkedIn to third-party bylines.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of communications experience spanning PR, media relations, and executive communications.
• Experience ghostwriting for executives with editorial judgment.
• Experience developing narratives and campaigns for target audiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as CEO's trusted communications advisor and shape strategy.
• Own Karat's media presence end to end and secure coverage.
• Architect campaigns for thought leadership and product launches.
• Build and run the CEO's public platform across channels.
• Ghostwrite talking points, bylines, and keynote content.
• Set speaking strategy and land high-impact stages.
