Job summary

Lighthouse Lab Services seeks a Director of Laboratory Regulatory & Quality to lead the organization’s QMS and ensure regulatory compliance across CLIA, CAP, CMS and state requirements. The role coordinates with operations and executive leadership to prepare for inspections and regulatory reporting.

The position also manages credentialing, audits, CAPA and quality improvements, driving standardization and quality metrics across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in healthcare/biology/related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for senior leadership roles.
• Experience leading quality programs in clinical labs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CLIA, CAP, CMS, OSHA and state regs; prepare for inspections.
• Lead QMS, audits, CAPA, risk assessments and document control.
• Manage personnel credentialing, licensure and renewal processes.
• Provide regulatory guidance to leadership and staff.
• Present compliance metrics to executives and drive improvements.
