Job summary

Empower Pharmacy seeks a Director of Quality Control to lead the laboratory QA strategy for 503A and 503B operations. The role ensures testing quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and reliable supply across facilities, with accountability for data integrity, investigations, and external partners.

The ideal candidate has deep cGMP expertise, strong leadership, and a track record of transforming laboratory performance in a high-regulation environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in pharmaceutical quality control/assurance with leadership.
• Experience with compounding pharmacy regulations (503A/503B) or similar.
• Deep USP knowledge, laboratory systems, testing methods, and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead laboratory strategy across 503A/503B facilities with external partners.
• Oversee chemical and microbiological testing programs and stability governance.
• Drive continuous improvement, risk management, and inspection readiness.
• Partner with QA, Regulatory, and Operations to ensure compliant execution.
