Job summary

Cobseo seeks a part-time Digital Marketing & Social Media Lead to drive engagement with beneficiaries, grow followers, and raise awareness of the charity’s work. 20 hours per week, remote with the option to work from the Head Office in Portsmouth.

You will collaborate with the CEO, Head of Operations and Case Working Team, and stakeholders including donors, volunteers and beneficiaries. Occasional weekend/evening work and travel may be required to attend events and create digital content.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the charity social media channels
• Drafting engaging social media copy for charity wide campaigns and activities.
• Scheduling social media posts using social media tools
• Responding to messages, posts and comments received across social media channels, in line with established charity protocols and responses.
• Maintaining and updating a 12-month social media calendar with planned social media activity and new social media requests.
• Working with colleagues to source potential future social media content and drive further engagement with new and existing followers.
• Feeding back on social media performance to the Trustees
• Work with the graphic designer to create content for the website, newsletters and resources.
• Photography at events
• Children's competitions (such as Art or seasonal) to be run to increase awareness into schools
