Job summary

Utah State University seeks a Data and Evaluation Specialist to support evaluation activities for multiple substance misuse prevention projects in Salt Lake County. This part-time, non-benefited position is telework eligible within Utah and pays $45.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include designing evaluation methods, assisting with IRB applications, data analyses, and reporting for funders and partners. Remote work within Utah is allowed; status may require state approval for out-of-state

Qualifications

Graduate degree with at least 4 years of program evaluation or research experience.
Experience designing and implementing project evaluation activities or research projects.
Experience conducting data analyses for prevention-focused intervention evaluations.
Experience reporting on qualitative and quantitative data, as well as mixed methods approaches.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the project director on developing evaluation methods across several prevention-related projects.
Collaborate on preparing grant proposals and manuscripts.
Create or adapt data collection tools and protocols for different projects.
Assist with the preparation of IRB applications.
Conduct data analyses.
Develop data tracking and monitoring tools and provide trainings to the project team on how to use them.
Create summary reports for funders and partners.
