Job summary

The State of Utah is seeking a part-time Data Analyst to evaluate homelessness data practices and build a strategic measurement framework. Hybrid in Salt Lake City, this time-limited role focuses on improving data quality and governance while delivering practical recommendations for program oversight and funding decisions.

Collaborate with the Office of Homeless Services and external stakeholders to map data flows, identify gaps, and present findings to state leadership, with a strong emphasis

Qualifications

  • Strong alignment or programmatic experience with Utah Code 35a-16-801.
  • Awareness of Utah’s homelessness governance system, including prior work with the Utah Homeless Services Board.
  • Demonstrated experience evaluating complex data systems and developing enterprise data strategies.
  • Experience designing performance measurement frameworks and outcome evaluation systems.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality management, business intelligence, and performance management.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage diverse stakeholders and translate complex analyses into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities
