Job summary

Kitsch LLC is seeking a part-time Copywriter to join our Marketing team. You’ll craft packaging and web copy, create product names and taglines, and maintain brand voice across channels while ensuring factual accuracy. This independent contractor role requires about 30 hours per week and remote work from the United States.

You’ll collaborate with Product Development, Brand Manager, and Creative teams, manage tasks in Asana, and deliver ready-to-publish content for launches and evergreen assets.

Qualifications

• Professional copywriting experience at a mid-to-senior level.
• A portfolio of your work is required.
• Experience writing web or e-commerce copy.
• Sharp attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.
• Proactive, creative mindset with new ideas to share.
• Availability for about 30 hours per week as an independent contractor.
• Willingness to complete a short writing test.

Responsibilities

• Write packaging copy that is warm, clear, and on brand, so customers know what a product is and what it does in 3 seconds.
• Write web copy for our retail partners and our own channels: key benefit bullets, short and long copy, how-to steps, and FAQs for big launches.
• Create product names, color names, taglines, and slogans that are catchy and ownable.
• Keep our brand voice consistent, and share a simple list of words we love and words we avoid.
• Make sure every claim is true and backed by documentation.
• Be the final check on packaging copy for errors.
• Manage your tasks in Asana and share a weekly update.
• Build simple, repeatable outlines for recurring copy and keep files organized in our shared drive.
