Job summary

Kitsch LLC is seeking a part-time Copywriter to own product voice across packaging and digital content. You will craft warm, on-brand copy for packaging and web pages, and build catchy names and slogans.

You’ll collaborate with Product Development, Brand Manager, and Creative teams while maintaining consistent brand language. This independent contractor role is about 30 hours per week, remote in the United States, with duties including writing for launches, managing Asana tasks, and delivering

Qualifications

• Professional copywriter with mid to senior level experience.
• Portfolio of relevant work demonstrating packaging and web copy.
• Experience writing web or e-commerce copy for brands.
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency with brand voice.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.
• Proactive, creative mindset and willingness to contribute ideas.
• Available for ~30 hours per week as an independent contractor.
• Willingness to complete a short writing test.

Responsibilities

• Write packaging copy that is warm, clear, and on brand for product names and descriptions.
• Create web copy for retail partners and company channels, including bullets, long copy, and FAQs.
• Develop product names, color names, taglines, and slogans that are catchy and ownable.
• Maintain brand voice and provide a reference list of approved words.
• Verify every claim with documentation and be the final quality check on packaging copy.
• Manage tasks in Asana and provide weekly updates.
• Build simple, repeatable outlines for recurring copy and keep files organized.

The Role

We’re looking for a part-time Copywriter to join our Marketing team. You’ll give every Kitsch product its voice, from the name on the pack to the words on our web pages. You’ll work closely with Product Development, our Brand Manager, and the Creative team.

• Type: Part-time, independent contractor (about 30 hours per week)
• Pay: $75 per hour
• Location: United States / Remote

What You’ll Do

• Write packaging copy that is warm, clear, and on brand, so customers know what a product is and what it does in 3 seconds.
• Write web copy for our retail partners and our own channels: key benefit bullets, short and long copy, how-to steps, and FAQs for big launches.
• Create product names, color names, taglines, and slogans that are catchy and ownable.
• Keep our brand voice consistent, and share a simple list of words we love and words we avoid.
• Make sure every claim is true and backed by documentation.
• Be the final check on packaging copy for errors.
• Manage your tasks in Asana and share a weekly update.
• Build simple, repeatable outlines for recurring copy and keep files organized in our shared drive.
