Job summary

The Counseling Team International (TCTI) is seeking a Part-Time 1099 Clinician to provide individual, group, and family counseling to first responders and their families. You will work from your own office or via telehealth and may respond to critical incidents as needed, including outside regular hours.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field and California licensure or eligibility. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential to meet urgent needs and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• State licensure or licensure eligibility in California (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or similar).
• Experience with trauma response, crisis intervention, and assessing mental health.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and empathy skills.
• Flexibility to provide services during evenings, weekends, or emergency calls.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling to first responders and families.
• Conduct professional evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Deliver therapy sessions and respond to critical incidents as needed.
• Collaborate with TCTI’s team; may respond to calls outside regular hours.
