Job summary

MCHAP Chaplains is seeking a Part-Time Chaplain for Northwest Arkansas. The role requires bilingual Spanish proficiency and involves serving employees and their families at company worksites, with visits typically on a weekly basis.

The Chaplain will provide spiritual care, confidential discussions, and referrals, supporting employees through grief, illness, and life challenges while collaborating with the Chaplain Team and company leadership.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in interfaith setting with diverse groups.
• Excellent listening and communication with clients and families.
• Spiritual maturity and saving faith in Jesus Christ.
• Diplomacy, patience, and courtesy in professional interactions.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and MS Office.
• Active driver's license and insurance in servicing states.

Responsibilities

• Regular visits to company worksites (usually weekly) to interact with employees and build relationships of trust and friendship.
• Provide confidential pastoral discussions for employees and immediate family members.
• Plan, conduct or attend funerals for employees or immediate family members.
• Provide resources and referrals for life issues and crises.
• Assist in new employee orientation to explain Employee Care Service.
• Respond to other duties requested by leadership within agreed scope.
