Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions is seeking an Associate Medical Director (Part Time) to apply medical expertise in ensuring quality and cost-effective care across our four-state area. This role emphasizes clinical policy development, peer-to-peer consultations, and collaboration with clinical staff, with a remote work option from home in allowed states.

Ideal candidates hold an MD or DO with an unrestricted license and at least 3 years of clinical experience, and board certification.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physician with an MD or DO degree.
• Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in one or more states or territories of the United States, with one of these licenses in OR, WA, ID or UT.
• Board Certification required.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical consulting to staff on specific member cases to ensure quality, cost-effective care.
• Conduct high-quality member case reviews and peer-to-peer consultations with providers.
• Promote understanding of care management, utilization management and quality programs to internal/external stakeholders.
• Participate on clinical project teams focused on medical policy reviews and program development.
• Collaborate with clinical staff on case management reviews and peer consultations.
