Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions seeks an Associate Medical Director (Part Time) to apply medical expertise, support medical policies, and collaborate with clinical teams to improve member care across a four-state region. This remote role emphasizes peer consultations, policy input, and population health initiatives.

You will engage with hospitals and providers, contribute to program development, and stay current on industry and technology trends to advance Cambia’s mission.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physician with an MD or DO degree.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in one or more states or territories of the United States, with one license in OR/WA/ID/UT.
• Board Certification required.
• Qualification by training and experience to render clinical opinions.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical consulting to staff on member cases to ensure quality, cost-effective care.
• Conduct high-quality member case reviews and peer-to-peer consultations with providers.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to promote understanding of care management.
• Participate on teams to provide clinical input on medical policy reviews and program development.
• Stay abreast of industry, medical and technology trends to identify opportunities.
• Leverage AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making.
