Job summary

ECPI University is seeking an online Masters - Mechanical Engineering Technology Adjunct Faculty to teach in its Master’s program. This role suits a Mechanical Engineering professional and offers training and ongoing faculty support.

Classes are five weeks long, with candidates expected to be available evenings and weekends to accommodate adult learners. No prior teaching experience is required, as ECPI provides mentoring.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 18 graduate hours in the discipline.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Inventor or other 3D design software.
• Experience with Machine Tool Technology, CNC G-Code programming, CAD/CAM software is a plus.
• 1+ years industry experience in mechanical/manufacturing engineering; 7+ years preferred.
• Mechatronics background with control systems, instrumentation, and mechanicals.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Master’s Mechanical Engineering program, providing practical hands-on instruction.
• Share industry experience and mentor students; support student outcomes.
• Availability for evenings and weekends to accommodate adult learners.
