Job summary

ECPI University is seeking remote Adjunct Instructors to teach in our Online Engineering Technology program. Ideal candidates hold a Masters in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering and have industry experience within the last 5 years.

No prior teaching experience is required; we provide training and ongoing faculty support. The position runs in five-week terms; instructors must be available evenings and weekends and to conduct weekly live sessions via Zoom, with weekly office hours.

Qualifications

• Education/Certifications: Masters in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering from a regionally accredited institution; terminal degree preferred.
• Experience: industry experience within last 5 years.
• Required Skills: integrity, interpersonal skills, strong communication, five-week accelerated course environment, troubleshoot software with students.

Responsibilities

• Teach in online Engineering Technology program remotely.
• Conduct one live session per week and weekly office hours via Zoom.
• Provide training, mentoring and ongoing faculty support to new instructors.
• Availability in evenings and weekends to support adult learners.
