Job summary

Core Sound Imaging is hiring for a help desk specialist to install, maintain and upgrade Studycast software via phone, chat and remote sessions. The role requires networking knowledge and Windows environments, with the ability to train users and document activities for support teams.

You will respond to inquiries, troubleshoot issues, onboard clients, and coordinate with development to fix bugs and improve the product. Prior CS coursework and 5 years of tech support are expected.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to completion of 4 years of college-level coursework in computer science, minimum 5 years of technical support experience, information technology or a related field
• Strong ability to install, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade client software over phone, chat and remote sessions
• Experience with networking and Windows environments; able to train users and document activities

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, and chat
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Studycast’s products
• Assist with product onboarding and coordinate training for new users
• Collaborate with the development team to address product bugs and improvements
• Perform new installations of Studycast’s products on the client’s equipment
• Install, configure and upgrade Studycast’s products
• Troubleshoot problems with clients’ hardware and software and how these components work with the client’s modalities
• Test software and document testing procedures and results
• Provide written documentation to support Level 1 and Level 3 teams
