Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field
• PACS certification or completed within two years of hire
• Two years desktop IT experience
• Two years IT or Radiology Technologist experience
• Experience with software performance modification
• PACS administration certificate (preferred)
• ITIL Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily operations and maintenance of PACS for optimal uptime and reliability.
• Monitor PACS performance and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
• Manage PACS integration with EHR/HIS and other hospital systems.
• Implement security protocols to protect imaging data and HIPAA compliance.
• Coordinate with clinical departments to tailor PACS functionalities.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and data backup.
• Provide high-level technical support and incident escalation.
• Maintain system documentation and training materials.
