Job summary

PDDN is seeking a Packaging Engineer to lead end-to-end packaging projects for Vehicle and Energy platforms. You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, NPI, and operations teams to gather requirements and ensure efficient, risk‑managed packaging solutions.

The role requires strong CAD skills (Creo, SolidWorks), knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis, and familiarity with machining, welding, and molding processes. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Packaging, Industrial Design, or equivalent.
• Strong CAD skills (Creo, SolidWorks) with experience in technical drawings, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and injection molding.
• Knowledge of materials including aluminum, steel, composites, and foam.
• Experience designing to standards such as ASTM and Mil-Spec.
• Strong understanding of packaging testing and validation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality results.
• Excellent communication, risk management, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

• Oversee project budgets, risks, vendor selection, and change management.
