Job summary

Folia Materials, Inc. seeks a mid-career Packaging Engineer / Industrial Paper Packaging Designer for remote, international collaboration. You will create production-ready dielines and parametric CAD models for paperboard and corrugated packaging using ArtiosCAD, with a focus on design for manufacturing.

This role requires an engineering mindset, 3–7+ years’ hands-on experience, and strong communication for asynchronous handoffs with product managers and on-site teams.

Qualifications

• Proven ArtiosCAD skills with dieline output.
• Strong knowledge of paperboard, folding cartons and corrugated boards.
• Background in Industrial Design, Packaging Engineering, or related field.
• 3–7+ years of hands-on structural packaging design experience for manufacturing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for asynchronous handoffs.

Responsibilities

• Structural Design & CAD: produce production-ready dielines and parametric models using ArtiosCAD.
• DFM: optimize material yield, reduce waste, ensure manufacturability.
• Technical Documentation: create SOPs, technical specs, fold sequences, and assembly guides.
• Remote Collaboration: coordinate with product managers, production teams, and on-site staff.
