Job summary

CCMSI, a leading third-party administrator, seeks a Workers' Compensation Claim Supervisor for remote work in Pennsylvania. The role oversees seven WC adjusters, drives claim quality, tackles technical challenges, and ensures compliance with PA laws and corporate standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Workers' Compensation claims handling experience.
• Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation laws, regulations, and claim handling practices
• Experience supervising or leading a team
• Understanding of compensability determinations, reserve management, medical management, litigation oversight, return-to-work strategies, and settlements
• Ability to coach and develop claim professionals
• Excellent communication and remote-work capabilities
• Proficiency with claim systems and related tools

Responsibilities

• Review and supervise all claim activity to ensure compliance with corporate standards and client instructions.
• Investigate, evaluate, and adjust assigned claims per standards and laws.
• Establish and oversee reserves within authority levels.
• Oversee medical, legal, and invoices; negotiate disputed bills.
• Authorize payments within authority and apply standard procedures.
• Negotiate settlements per standards and client rules.
• Direct handling of litigated and complex claims.
• Provide training and development for claim staff.
• Maintain diary entries and oversee activity for accounts.
• Ensure compliance with all client-specific instructions and standards
