Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis, Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR), seeks a dedicated remote overnight radiologist to join TeleMIR, providing teleradiology coverage for BJC-affiliated hospitals across Illinois (11PM–7AM CT).

The schedule is 7 consecutive nights on, 14 nights off, offering substantial work-life balance. Candidates must hold MD/DO, be eligible for MO/IL licensure, and have ABR board certification or eligibility with strong emergency CT experience.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent degree from an accredited medical school.
• ABR board certification or eligibility; MO/IL licensure eligibility required.
• Experience in teleradiology and emergency CT preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with radiology care in a remote setting.
• Coordinates with nurses, practitioners, and staff to implement treatment plans.
• Records encounters and orders in EPIC to regulatory standards.
• Maintains licensure and adheres to institutional policies and ethics.
