Job summary

GRF CPAs & Advisors, a Bethesda, MD CPA firm, seeks a Supervisory/Controller to join our Outsourced Accounting and Advisory Services team. This fully remote role welcomes local DMV area members to visit the office as desired.

You will supervise and execute engagements focused on cloud-based accounting systems like Sage Intacct and QuickBooks Online, collaborating with others and interfacing with clients in a team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Effective written and oral communications with employees, partners, clients, and vendors.
• Organize projects, set priorities, and delegate tasks under evolving client needs.
• Mentor and train staff; provide supervision and direction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising engagements and overseeing monthly close processes.
• Collaborate with clients and engagement teams; ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
• Utilize cloud-based accounting tools (Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online) and related apps.
• Maintain client relationships and communicate engagement progress to partners.
