Elevance Health is seeking an Outreach Specialist to serve as the primary field contact for current and potential members in North Carolina while working virtually. The role emphasizes flexible scheduling, with occasional in-person trainings and possible office presence as needed.

You will resolve benefits inquiries, promote State Sponsored Programs at community events, and support member access to care through home visits and information distribution.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience.
• Must be a North Carolina resident.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial and main field contact between Elevance Health and current and potential members.
• Provide timely and accurate resolution of inquiries regarding benefits, services and policies.
• Promote State Sponsored Programs through participation in community events.
• Represent programs in community collaborations and help members access care through home visits and distribution of collateral materials.
• Perform new member orientations and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Multitask across calls, texts, and queues while taking notes and speaking with customers.
