AARP Missouri Team in the St. Louis area is seeking an Outreach Intern for Fall 2026. This remote internship will support policy outreach, event planning, and volunteer coordination, with emphasis on caregiving, healthcare, financial security, and consumer protection.

The role requires enrollment in a degree program, ability to work independently, strong organizational skills, and comfort with virtual and in-person activities. Location is remote but candidates must be located in the St.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college/university; rising undergraduate juniors or seniors; graduate students; or post-doctoral students, and remain academically enrolled throughout the internship.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Responsabilités

• Apply strategic, analytical, and creative thinking to promote policy issues (caregiving, healthcare, financial security, consumer protection, fraud).
• Assist in all aspects of community engagement activities, including event planning, coordinating with community partners, and prepping event materials.
• Support coordination of volunteer outreach programming; attend volunteer meetings and assist with volunteer correspondence.
• Provide outstanding customer service and build relationships with internal and external partners.
