Job summary

Pacific Neuropsychiatric Specialists (PNS) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient mental health practice. The NP will diagnose, assess, and prescribe medications for psychiatric-mental health conditions, and contribute to integrated treatment plans.

The role offers a mix of office outpatient and telepsychiatry, with a supportive team of psychiatrists and PAs. California license, NPI, and DEA required; bilingual Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid license to practice in California.
• Must have full prescription authority and maintain DEA licensure.
• Experience in Behavioral Health is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and provide ongoing medication management and therapy for patients.
• Conduct initial in-person and telemedicine psychiatric evaluations and follow-ups.
• Renew and manage medications to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients on disease processes and preventive practices.
• Support families and caregivers to enhance rehabilitation.
