Qualifications

• Outpatient coding experience with ICD-10 and CPT-4.
• Knowledge of AHIMA coding standards and compliance.
• Experience with outpatient facility encounters.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and assigns ICD-10 and CPT-4 codes for outpatient visits across ER, trauma, clinics for reimbursement and compliance.
• Monitors daily work to facilitate billing within established timeframes.
• Maintains coding quality accuracy of 90%.
• Maintains productivity rate of at least 95%.
• Complies with AHIMA standards of ethical coding and compliance.
• Supports system mission and policies; performs coding corrections as assigned.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
