Qualifications

• Associate degree and 7+ years of outpatient coding experience.
• 3 years' supervisory experience/management experience required in the coding field.
• Certificates CCS, CPC, RHIT or RHIA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day outpatient coding operations across multiple areas.
• Identify and ensure accurate ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding for reimbursement and compliance.
• Manage accounts receivable and support timely billing across the health system.
• Lead coders, supervise performance, training, and annual evaluations.
• Collaborate with departments to optimize the revenue cycle and coding quality.
