Job summary

Ensource RCM is hiring a skilled Medical Coder to join a nationwide team. You will review hospital records, assign ICD-10-CM codes for OP and ancillary encounters, and maintain high quality and productivity standards.

Collaboration with outpatient coders and managers is essential to meet client needs. Required credentials include CCS/RHIA/RHIT or CPC and 3+ years of facility coding experience; US residence is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Current CCS, RHIA, RHIT through AHIMA or CPC through AAPC are required.
• 3+ years of relevant facility coding experience.
• Candidates must reside within the United States.
• Access to reliable high-speed internet and a workstation.
• Epic experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review hospital medical records and assign ICD-10-CM codes per Official Guidelines for OP/Ancillary encounters.
• Meet or exceed quality and productivity standards in coding services.
• Collaborate with outpatient coders and managers to meet client needs and changes.
• Maintain active certifications and complete continuing education.
