Job summary

Zantech is seeking an OT R&D Cybersecurity Engineer to contribute to a DLA R&D Vulnerability Management project in a Remote role tied to DLA locations. The role requires DoD-level IA expertise and active credentials, supporting both NIPRNet and SIPRNet environments.

Responsibilities include policy review, risk assessments, S&T/Evaluation activities, and security design across DLA cloud and OT/IT infrastructure. Travel to HQ/locations within a 2-hour radius may be required.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570/8140 Baseline Certification required.
• IASAE III and related DoD security certifications preferred.
• Experience with DoD IA policies and security engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis of emerging DLA R&D IT/OT for compliance with DoD and Federal IA policy.
• Review policy against system design docs to identify non-compliance on NIPRNet and SIPRNet.
• Assist with Security Test and Evaluation and IA/cybersecurity assessment reviews.
• Assess impact of proposed DoD policy on DLA Cloud, OT, IT, and IA/cybersecurity architecture.
• Develop and document standards for IA/cybersecurity across R&D environments.
• Conduct risk assessments for R&D projects (unclassified and classified).
• Provide weekly status updates on all open assignments/tickets/projects.
• Maintain required SIPRNet access to compile risk data for R&D efforts.
