Job summary

Zantech is seeking an OT R&D Cybersecurity Engineer to support a DoD vulnerability management program in a remote role spanning multiple DLA locations. The engineer will contribute to IA engineering, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity risk reduction across R&D information systems.

Responsibilities include compliance reviews, test & evaluation, and engineering support from planning through integration, with periodic HQ meetings within the Washington, DC area as needed.

Qualifications

• Analyze information security requirements and apply systematic approaches to resolve problems.
• Review and ensure compliance with DoD/IA policies for R&D information systems.
• Support planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis of emerging DLA R&D information systems and IT infrastructure to assess compliance with IA policy.
• Review existing and proposed policy against design documentation and identify non-compliance on NIPRNet and SIPRNet.
• Assist with Security Test and Evaluation and IA/cybersecurity assessment reviews.
• Support overall cybersecurity engineering efforts for DoD production transitions.
