FirstEnergy Corp seeks an OT Engineer to support EMS and DMS in Transmission or Distribution Control Centers, with remote work flexibility and occasional on-site collaboration in Greensburg PA, Akron OH, Reading PA, or Fairmont WV.

You will work with analysts and engineers to ensure real-time, 7x24 operation and reliability of network analysis tools, modeling, and ICCP data exchange with PJM. Strong electrical engineering fundamentals are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET accredited institution is required.
• Alternative: PE license or a BSEE with advanced degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited program.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to prioritize and plan across multiple tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Provide maintenance and support of EMS and DMS network toolset (model, state estimator, powerflow, contingencies).
• Lead and support engineering initiatives to ensure reliability of SCADA and real-time analysis tools.
• Manage software and configuration changes; maintain system interfaces and documentation.
