Job summary

Eastern Research Group, Inc. is seeking curious, detail-oriented analysts to support national occupational safety programs by analyzing real-world workplace injury and illness data. This fully remote role offers daily collaboration with a supportive team via Microsoft Teams, with optional in-person workspace at local offices.

You will review records, draft narratives, and assign OIICS codes while learning coding systems. A bachelor’s degree and 0–5 years experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to apply rules consistently with attention to detail.
• Experience or interest in data analysis, public health, or occupational safety.

Responsibilities

• Review injury, illness, and fatality records and apply OIICS codes.
• Draft clear incident narratives summarizing case details.
• Manage multiple work queues with deadlines and accuracy.
• Collaborate with analysts for guidance, quality checks, and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to documentation, processes, and evolving analytical practices.
• Learn OIICS version 3.03 coding; training provided.
