Job summary

RWS is seeking AI Conversation Recording Contributors for a Oriya (India) speech data collection project. This freelance, work-from-home engagement involves approximately 2-4 hours daily with immediate start and a rate of 4 USD per hour.

You will record natural speech, annotate data, and follow detailed project and recording instructions. Strong Oriya fluency and good English comprehension are required; prior data-annotation experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Oriya (India).
• Authentic pronunciation and strong familiarity with the target language through everyday use.
• Advanced level of English to understand written instructions.
• Contributors must not imitate dialects or accents that are not their own.
• Experience with speech recording or data annotation projects is an advantage, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail when providing annotations and recording metadata.
• Ability to follow detailed project and recording instructions.

Responsibilities

• Record natural, spontaneous speech following project guidelines.
• Capture speech from real-life situations such as workplace conversations or casual discussions.
• Complete single or two-person conversational tasks, or interact with AI systems.
• Annotate collected speech data according to provided instructions.
• Provide required information and metadata for each recording.
