Job summary

Alamat Oral Surgery Group is seeking a Billing Specialist to manage the billing and reimbursement process for oral surgery procedures. This remote role requires residency in the Eastern or Central Time Zones in the United States.

You will verify insurance, submit claims, follow up on denials, and report AR trends to leadership. The position is entry-to-intermediate with a focus on claims processing, insurance coordination, and adherence to payer guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate degree or certification in medical billing or coding is preferred.
• Experience in dental or medical billing, especially oral surgery billing, is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits before procedures.
• Obtain prior authorizations for procedures when needed.
• Coordinate benefits between medical and dental insurance plans.
