Job summary

GDIT seeks an Oracle e-Business Suite Functional Tester to cover test planning through close-out. The role requires broad testing expertise across API, web, and client-server apps and the ability to tailor testing approaches to CMS/HIGLAS needs.

You will collaborate with technical and functional teams, create comprehensive test artifacts, and drive automation, performance, and UAT efforts while ensuring quality and security in a certified architecture environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of testing experience incl. Oracle E-Business Suite applications.
• 5+ years in relational databases (Oracle/SQL Server).
• 5+ years with MicroFocus/HP ALM.
• 3+ years of test automation with VBScript or Java.
• Experience building configurable & parametrized automation scripts.
• Experience with QTP/UFT, SOAPUI/PostMan, LoadRunner/JMeter.
• Experience testing Web forms, Java forms, Web Services, ETL; Agile.

Responsibilities

• Create and document test plans, data, test cases, and automated scripts.
• Implement tools and techniques for robust web/app testing.
• Perform web, API, functional, regression, load, and end-to-end testing.
• Write and modify SQL queries for database validations.
• Research and evaluate new testing tools and concepts for HIGLAS.
• Identify, document, and track defects to closure; root-cause analysis.
