Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking a QA/Test Engineer with an automation-first mindset to own end-to-end quality for enterprise platforms, focusing on Oracle EBS R12 and ERP modules like P2P, OTC, Inventory, WIP, BOM, and Project Accounting. This is a 100% remote role operating on PST hours.

You will drive test strategy, build and maintain automation suites (UI, API, integration), validate data, and ensure release readiness through CI/CD integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA / Test Engineering for enterprise applications.
• Hands-on testing of Oracle EBS R12.
• Functional ERP expertise across P2P, OTC, Inventory, WIP, BOM, Project Accounting.
• Strong SQL and data validation skills.
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks (UI, API, integration).
• Hands-on CI/CD pipeline experience with automated tests.
• Solid understanding of test design, scalability, and maintainability.
• Experience with Git/version control.

Responsibilities

• Own quality across platforms and drive automation-first test strategy.
• Define automation standards, data strategy, and test coverage.
• Establish quality gates, coverage metrics, and defect trends for release readiness.
• Drive risk-based testing across UI, API, integration, and data layers.
• Partner with engineering for testable design and observability.
• Review requirements for gaps, ambiguity, and testability.
• Define automation scope (UI/API/data) and estimate test efforts.
• Prioritize backlog based on risk and production impact.
• Design and build automated test suites for Oracle EBS workflows.
• Develop robust test data strategies (seeding, masking, repeatable environments).
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines with fast feedback loops.
• Expand coverage across functional and selective non-functional areas.
• Lead defect triage and root-cause analysis.
• Provide quality release metrics (pass rates, pipeline health, risk indicators).
• Support UAT with clear validation criteria and test evidence.
• Maintain QA standards and documentation.
