Job summary

Everforth Apex seeks an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to support mission-critical production databases. You will work independently within a focused team to manage performance tuning, upgrades, and patching, contributing to modernization and cloud migration projects.

You will administer Oracle PeopleSoft environments, manage Exadata platforms, and deploy databases in OCI. The role involves backup, recovery, and troubleshooting of complex issues to ensure high availability across

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of eight years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator in high-availability production environments.
Proven expertise with Oracle PeopleSoft, Exadata, and OCI.

Responsibilities

Administer and support Oracle PeopleSoft environments to ensure system stability and performance.
Manage and maintain Oracle Exadata platforms in alignment with organizational standards.
Configure and optimize database deployments within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Oversee backup, recovery, performance tuning, and database patching procedures.
Troubleshoot complex database issues and provide timely resolutions for production environments.
Collaborate with globally distributed or offshore support teams to maintain database availability.
