Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies seeks an experienced Oracle Security Engineer to design, implement, and operate controls across OCI, Oracle Cloud Applications, and hybrid Oracle environments. You will define security architecture, harden workloads, manage identity, and lead vulnerability and compliance programs.

The role requires 6+ years of cloud security experience, strong scripting (Python, Bash), and Terraform, with hands-on OCI expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of cloud security experience with hands-on OCI.
• Deep experience with OCI Identity, IAM policies, and identity federation.
• Hands-on with OCI Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vault, Data Safe.
• Understanding of cloud-native security frameworks and CIS benchmarks.
• Experience with vulnerability management and patching tooling.
• Familiarity with PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001.
• Strong scripting (Python, Bash) and Terraform.
• Experience integrating cloud workloads with SIEM platforms.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate security controls across OCI, Oracle Cloud Applications, and hybrid Oracle environments.
• Define security architecture and harden cloud workloads.
• Manage identity and access and lead vulnerability and compliance programs.
• Respond to security incidents.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, and stakeholders to translate requirements into secure solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code/design reviews.
