General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking an Oracle Migration SME to lead a complex Azure-to-OCI migration, coordinating across infrastructure, databases, security, and applications. You will manage end-to-end migration planning, governance, and risk, partnering with Oracle, Microsoft, and partners.

The role requires 10+ years of IT experience, Oracle/OCI expertise, and strong PM skills. Expect a senior, multi-disciplinary team environment with remote options.

Formación

• Extensive experience with Azure and Oracle cloud providers.
• Direct Azure-to-OCI migration or similar hyperscaler-to-hyperscaler work.
• OCI services, migration methodologies, cloud architecture.
• Oracle tech, Fusion Financials, EPM, Exadata.
• SDLC knowledge and IT governance familiarity.
• Experience with .Net apps and MySQL; ETL familiarity.

Responsabilidades

• Develop a detailed phased migration plan with timelines and risk mitigation.
• Oversee data transfer, app establishment and system integration.
• Configure target cloud environment per security requirements and guardrails.
• Decommission legacy cloud responsibly to prevent data leaks.
• Coordinate post-migration validation, testing, and tuning.
• Evaluate cloud-native features for performance and cost efficiency.
• Create knowledge transfer documentation of cloud configurations.
