Job summary

APPTAD INC is seeking a Business Analyst to support DOJ modernization initiatives by eliciting and clarifying business needs, documenting processes, and supporting testing and implementation. You will collaborate with program staff, senior analysts, technical teams, and vendors to transform stakeholder input into actionable documentation that guides delivery.

There may be a need to be in the office based on business need; a lot of time the individual will be able to work remotely.

Qualifications

• Experience eliciting business needs for large modernization programs.
• Ability to translate requirements into process diagrams and user stories.
• Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Gather information via interviews and workshops and translate findings into clear requirements.
• Draft process maps, SOPs, and functional descriptions using approved templates.
• Prepare UAT test cases and participate in execution with results documentation.
• Contribute to enduser training materials and trainer sessions to support adoption.
• Other duties as assigned to support program objectives.
