Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an Operations Research Analyst / Data Lead to support DHS ICE with data analytics, dashboards, and reporting. You will lead a team of analysts, manage data requests, and ensure timely delivery of programmatic outputs.

The role emphasizes building and translating data into clear narratives, delivering Power BI/Tableau/Qlik visualizations, and maintaining strong communications with both business and technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in dynamic customer delivery environments (masters can reduce).
• 2+ years in data exploration, cleaning, visualization and analytics.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain DHS clearance.
• Experience with Databricks and data modeling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate client needs, issues, and challenges; perform gap analysis and propose solutions.
• Lead cross-disciplinary teams to meet requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
• Align data with analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik dashboards.
• Provide trade-off analyses to select best tools and methods for complex data requests.
• Create project deliverables and artifacts ensuring compliance and quality.
• Use source data to assess project effectiveness and business processes.
